The context

A travel caravan in Morocco wanted a site that makes you want to leave, not a commercial leaflet. The hard constraint was Arabic: not a translation laid over a layout designed for Latin script, but a genuine RTL switch, typography included.

⏱ Project delivered and live

The approach

  • A narrative structure in numbered chapters rather than showcase-site sections, so reading follows the journey.
  • Trilingual FR, EN and AR with a complete layout mirror in Arabic: column order, alignments, margins and the direction of separators.
  • Editorial typography with two contrasting families, a serif for headings and a monospace for geographic markers.
  • No heavy framework: Vite and plain JavaScript, for a site that loads fast over a Moroccan mobile connection.
  • Each stop carries its real coordinates, which makes it possible to place it on a map without depending on a geocoding service at runtime.
  • Content served statically: no database query on load, so no page falls over because an application server stopped answering.

Results

  • Site live at ecocaravantour.com
  • All six stops on the route are detailed with their real geographic coordinates
  • The Arabic version is a full mirror, not a skin
  • The three languages are indexable separately, each on its own URL
  • Static hosting: no application server to maintain or patch
